August 9, 2001, Arnold Roth’s life was irrevocably derailed when his 15-year-old daughter, Malki, was murdered in a Terrorist bomb attack on the Sbarro pizzeria (above) in downtown Jerusalem. Spearheaded by Ahlam Tamimi, a journalist living in Jordan, a father’s outrage grew as his daughter’s killer popularity soared, enjoying celebrity status in the Arab world.
