Death of a Reporter

Al Jazeera’s Abu Akleh died as much in the line of fire as in the lie of fire!

By David E. Kaplan

Downgraded in Death. On learning the deceased Al Jazeera journalist was Christian, Imams were instructing Muslims not to pray for her mercy.

When it comes to coverage of Israel, ‘NEWS’ today is more about ‘aiming’ than pointing the cameras, and the death of Shireen Abu Akleh by a single bullet is a latest example until the next proverbial ‘round’! Why did the revelation that the Al Jazeera journalist was a Christian suddenly change the narrative and expose fissures and prejudice within Arab society?

The irony – Australian universities pass resolutions to obstruct resolution

By Alex Ryvchin

The Merchant of Menace. Terror on Israeli streets following Hamas Leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar ,again stiring up his people to kill Jews.

Let everyone who has a rifle, ready itAnd if you don’t have a rifle, ready your cleaver or an axe, or a knife.” These words were not from an obscure terrorist leader but Yahya Sinwar, the head of Hamas in the Gaza Strip. They were uttered in April and what followed were mass killings of Jews on streets across Israel. Why are universities in Australia passing anti-Israel resolutions while ignoring deadly Palestinian criminality?

Revealing true intent beneath the façade

By Lawrence Nowosenetz

Head to Head. In 2008, Israel’s Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and PA head Mahmoud Abbas came close but not close enough. Why?

Taking issue with the argument of Cape Town, South Africa Iman, Rasheed Omar that “the freedom struggle of the Palestinian people is not a Muslim struggle” but “an anti-colonial struggle,” the writer argues that there are so many such false characterizations of issues that are deliberately designed to cause prejudice against Jews and Israel and derail any meaningful path to peace.
