Fleeting Moments

Images from Ukraine that are universal and eternal

By David E. Kaplan

Standing Ovation. A defiant President Zelenskyy appeals directly to President Biden and the US Congress.

There are ‘events’ captured on camera – sometimes fleeting – that are destined to stick in the collective memory and emerge universally iconic. Facts however are inconvenient for Lithuania, whose government engages in state-sponsored Holocaust distortion. Addressing the 30th Annual Educators’ Conference on the Holocaust, the writer exposes complicity – then and now!
