Dodging Death and Delusion

Israelis dodge rockets while the world media dodges the truth

By David E. Kaplan

Sleepless in Tel Aviv. A rocket fired from the Gaza Strip intercepted by Iron Dome over Tel Aviv, on May 12, 2021.

Hardly of concern to the world media  – as reflected by so little coverage – is the nightly routine of Israelis wakening to a siren, running to bomb shelters, huddling together in ‘comforting’ talk and texting family and friends and then waiting for the thunderous “Boom-Booms”  and falling rocket debris – all to be shortly repeated!

I Placed a Tile on the Wall of Peace

By Rolene Marks

Pursuing Peace. Visitors standing before the “Path to Peace” mosaic on the border wall  between Gaza and Israel

With Israel pummeled daily with rockets while absorbing a bruising from a biased world media, coupled with a rising tide of global antisemitism morphing into grotesque violence, the writer reflects on her last visit to the Israel border with Gaza and placing a tile on the wall of peace hoping for days when children either side of the wall, no longer know fear.

GAZA: THE FACTS

By Harris Zvi Green

Illuminating the Situation. A Hanukkah menorah survives a rocket from Gaza on a home in Sderot, Israel.

In response to the distorted narrative of the Israel-Gaza conflict on TV news networks with film footage   frequently shown without context, the writer –  rather than presenting personal opinion – lays out the facts.

Israel – The Front Line of Defense

By Rolene Marks

Situational GPS. News consumers subject to an unending avalanche of lies and distortions.

Angered by outrageous allegations of genocide leveled at Israel’s military trying to end the continuous salvos of deadly rockets aimed at the country’s  civilian population, the writer, while noting the meteoric rise in global antisemitism, bellows “ENOUGH” and appeals for people to follow the path of reason and humanity.
