No NY Times, Israelis Are Not Miserable!

By Rolene Marks

A recent New York Times op-ed concludes that Israelis are “miserable”, “divided” and other negative adjectives. Quite the contrary, we are happy, because we know what that costs!

The New York Times is veribbled (Yiddish for angry) with Israel. Somewhere along the line, a decision has been taken to criticise and deride the Jewish state at every given opportunity. Now, there is nothing wrong with criticism when it is legitimate; but the NYT takes this to an obsessive level.

Several weeks ago, New York Times journalist, Patrick Kingsley wrote an article about his trip to Israel. Far from musings about religious sites or vibrant night life, Kingsley’s article “Whose Promised Land?” came to the conclusions that we Israelis are miserable. Sad. Verkrimpt. (uptight) I believe he also used the word “divided” and described our cities and towns as “garish”.

Mind Made Up. The New York Times correspondent Patrick Kingsley  describes Israel in his front-page article subheads as a “”Nation divided” and a  “nation founded on contradictions”.

It was apparent that Kingsley was very selective about who he published in his article, preferring instead to push a decidedly negative narrative. Israelis responded on social media platform, Twitter, by sharing pictures of themselves and their families enjoying life in Israel with the hashtag, #sadsadIsrael. Kingsley got schooled in Israeli chutzpah, pride – and perhaps the people and sites he neglected to include in his article!

Taking aim at Israeli towns and cities, Kingsley called them “garish”. While Israel may lack stately architecture by American or European standards, our desert paradise boasts cities like Jerusalem that date back to King David and whose beauty is in its history and ancient stones or modern day Tel Aviv with its distinct Bauhaus buildings which are World Heritage Sites. The simple, unpretentious beauty of Israel is part of its charm.

Israel may have many problems, just like any other country, but Israelis are happy. The Annual Happiness Index consistently ranks Israel within the top 15 countries with the happiest populations.

Off Track. Rather than revealing to its readers a balanced presentation of Israel today, the Patrick Kingsley NY Times’ front-page article takes devious detours that reflect the paper’s bias and cynicism towards the Jewish state.

Perhaps this happiness stems from the ability of Israelis to enjoy robust debate – and arguments. Opinions are welcome here and the trend of “cancel culture” so prevalent around the world is virtually non-existent here. We all have strong political opinions – and are not afraid to voice them!

It reminds me of the joke. For lack of exact memory, I will paraphrase – The President of the USA is speaking to the Prime Minister of Israel and discussing their respective countrymen and the Israeli PM says, “you may be the President of 100 million Americans but I am the Prime Minister of 6 million prime ministers!”

It may be decade’s old but still rings true today. Everyone is an expert on anything and perfectly content to share our unsolicited advice.

Smorgasbord of Styles. Escaping the NY Times attention, Tel Aviv is an exciting amalgam of  early twenty century styles of architecture juxtaposed with the ultra-modern, reflecting the character of its residents that cherishes the past while embracing the future.

Israelis will engage in fiery arguments, complete with passionate gesticulation; and even if we vehemently disagree, we will still find time to sit down for hummus and a beer together. Life is too precious and sacred to carry a grudge over a differing opinion.

We have an ability to laugh and poke fun at ourselves that is refreshing. What Kingsley sees as divisive, we see as passionate expression.

A few days later, another article taking aim at the centrality of Zionism to Jewish worship was published. The modern day Zionist movement may be political in nature but the references to Zion are ancient and imbued in our religious text. The article crowed that the next generation Jewish clergy were looking at ways to NOT include references to Zion in their services. It is almost as if the NY Times is not content with just insulting the modern state of Israel, they are steadily eroding our ancient ties to the land.

True ‘Face’ of Israel. Despite the NY Times painting a bleak picture of Israel,  the 2021 World Happiness Report found Israelis to be among the happiest in the world and ranked Israel as the 12th happiest out of 149 countries over the past three years.

As I write this, happily ensconced in my home in Modiin, a city central to the story of Chanukah which we are currently observing, I am reminded of the brave Maccabees who fought yet another people, hell bent on the destruction of the Jews. Chanukah is a very Zionist holiday! Kingsley would probably find Modiin, with its Jerusalem stone buildings and careful planning, “garish” and unexciting, but to its residents, the city serves as a daily reminder that we walk in the footsteps of our ancient Jewish heroes who are central to a holiday that celebrates light and joy.

Modern Modiin. Hardly “garish” as the NY Times correspondent describes Israel’s young cities, Modiin, where this writer lives, is modern  with fascinating links to Jewish history dating back to the Maccabees and Bar Kochba. Modi’in is the birthplace of the Chanukah story.

There are many reasons why Israelis are happy – great weather, robust and vibrant democracy and respect for personal freedoms are just some.

As a country that has endured war, terror and continued calls for our destruction, we understand only too well, the importance of happiness and the value of life. We are too familiar with sorrow. Our happiness has been forged through enduring sorrow and pain and far too many of us have lost people we know and love to the ravages of war and terror.

Israelis live life in defiant happiness. This might grate on the nerves of the New York Times and their correspondents who are looking for any excuse to deride Israel. Perhaps if Kingsley dropped the agenda and engaged Israelis, he would have written a different article – one that celebrated diversity, differences, ancient ties to sacred land and yes, simple and uncomplicated cities, each with its own personality.

Israel is not perfect – no country is – but to blatantly disregard the character traits and ties that make this tiny state so special, well, that is just sad.

Israel Unmasked. A world leader in vaccinations, following the lifting of its outdoor mask mandate, Israelis take to the streets in Tel Aviv showing its people in all their colourful diversity, a characteristic that escaped the attention of the New York Times’ correspondent. 1. Great article Rolene! Kol ha-kavod! My Tweet in response to Kingsley’s article was :”What a disgusting one-sided
hatchet job! Kingsley took an arrow from his quiver full of malicious, one-sidedand mostly distorted criticism of Israel, and drew a target around it, to get a bull’s-eye!

  2. 8th Day of חנוכה. A summation and re-write of previous editions on the subject of Hanukkah this year.
    מאי חנוכה? What is Hanukkah?

Chag חנוכה celebrates the restoration of avodat HaShem within the Temple. Specifically where the Written Torah functions, so to speak, as the Menorah while the Oral Torah shines as the lights of חנוכה. The name of this Chag comes from חנוך\education. Talmud means learning. The restoration of avodat HaShem, relying solely upon the “lights” of the Oral Torah logic format to interpret the k’vanna of the Written Torah as the definition of avodat HaShem. Education quite often expressed through the logic format of משל\נמשל. The Talmud designates this Chag as the miracle of tohor Hanukkah oil by which the House of Aaron lights the lights of Hanukkah, within the Temple itself.

The Torah centers upon the eternal responsibility to rule the oath sworn land with righteous justice, not offering sacrifices in a Grand Building made of wood and stone which the Goyim can burn down and utterly abolish. What causes the anguish and sorrow of the din of g’lut upon the House of Israel? When our Courts fail to serve HaShem and the People of the brit alliance, by protecting and maintaining the Torah obligation to impose fair compensation for damages; where an Israel damages another Israel’s person, property, or goods. Restoration of the original value and worth of cattle, land, or persons – damaged through either intention or neglect, defines the Torah command: an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.

Righteous justice defines the k’vanna, purpose, and intent of Israel leaving Egyptian bondage, redeemed from oppressive slavery to rule the lands of Canaan through Lateral Common Law Courts; whose “diplomacy” shines, whenever Israel disputes with Israel over damages inflicted, and the Sages achieve justice through fair Courtroom decisions. The lighting of the lights of חנוכה dedicates the loyalty of Israel to honor the oath brit acceptance of the Torah at Sinai, specifically not to assimilate to the logic formats, foreign cultures and customs of the ancient Greeks – whose Courts gave but mere lip service to achieve righteous justice, and fair compensation for damages. Based upon the interpretation of the Torah negative commandment, not to follow after the ways of Egypt or Canaan. This Torah Commandment applies to all non Cohen societies logic formats, cultures and/or customs practiced by Goyim Courtrooms – whose Justices never accepted the Torah at Sinai.

The חנוך\education dedicated by this Chag centers upon swearing 3 oath blessings on the 1st day of the Chag, and the 7 remaining days swearing 2 oath blessings. Yaacov swore to Yitzak: at the time when Yitzak blessed Yaacov as his Cohen first-born; Yaacov dedicated unto HaShem that he would command his children to this specific oath blessing avodat HaShem — swearing blessings, a Torah obligation inherited by all – O’lam Ha’bah born generations – born unto the future. Swearing blessings defines avodat HaShem, the k’vanna of dedicating korbanot upon the altar within the Mishkan\Tabernacle, this חנוך teaches the משל\נמשל learning sh’itta\technique.

Swearing blessing resembles, yet differentiates itself from reading praises from Tehillem\Psalms. The Talmud defines “understanding” as the discipline whereby persons develop the skills by which they can discern and distinguish between like and like. Swearing blessings, shares the burden of direct responsibility which swearing oaths – obligates bnai brit allies to keep and maintain peace among their personal relationship together. A man never cut an oath brit of shalom with an enemy. The consequences of swearing oaths, the Gemara of Sanhedrin learns from the false oaths sworn by the generations of Adam in the days of Noach. Tohor Hanukkah oils function as a סוד\concealed kabbala of the interpretation of doing avodat HaShem while in a tohor condition; similar to the tefillen oath brit sworn at Sh’Cem which limits doing avodat HaShem – restricted to tohor spiritual conditions.

The First Commandment of Sinai: I am HaShem who took you out of Egypt. This defining commandment defines all other Torah commandments; does Israel – judged in each and every generation – truly Moshiach themselves (translated as dedicate) to keep and do the Torah לשמה? The Torah and Talmud of the Sages defines avodat HaShem לשמה as the practice of social behavior practiced among and between bnai brit allies. How does a Jew behave toward other Jews? Does the heart within each and every Jew express tohor middot (translated as attributes) or tuma middot in their social interactions with one another?

The Written Torah, at the revelation of the Oral Torah at Horev\Sinai reveals 13 tohor middot. Rabbinic literature, especially in both Talmud Midrashim and Siddur amplifies many other rabbinic tohor middot. Torah observant Jews, they dedicate their life walk before HaShem to express tohor middot in our social interactions within and among our bnai brit allied Cohen nation. The NaCH teaches many stories wherein Israel pursued after their tuma middot that “burned” (think tuma oils) within their hearts. Murder, rape, violence, theft, oppression, slander, betrayal, greed, evil eye etc — all these tuma middot express themselves likewise through social interactions and relationships.

Tuma avoda zara employs as its signature style guilt trip methodologies. Fallen Man needs the messiah to save humanity from original sin. The long history of crude barbarism practiced by European imperialism testifies to the destructive criminal nature of permitting tuma middot; to burn tuma “oils” within the hearts of man kind.By the terms of a tohor, כרת precondition, the Torah threatens the oath alliance brit wherein HaShem swore – that the seed of the chosen Avram\Cohen would compare to the number of the stars of the Heavens. Avram who at the time of the brit sworn between the pieces – had no living children, not from Sara, the mother of Yitzak, nor from Hagar, the mother of Yishmael.

The mitzva of קידושין\kiddushin (translated as: marriage)/ learns this identical Torah obligation whereby an Israel acquires a wife, based upon the pre-condition that the Baal (translated as husband), obligates himself to educate his future born children to do and heed the נעשה ומשמע Sinai oath responsibility; this most basic of Torah obligations defines the mitzva of קידושין, that a Torah observant Israel has to educate his House. The Torah mitzva of marriage, refers to a woman acquired through קידושין by the elevated term of: בית\house. This term בית, refers to the נמשל of a man who does קידושין with a woman, and thereby actively “acquires” her nefesh O’lam Ha’Bah soul – children born in the future from such a union. Just as women have no Torah obligation to bear children, in like manner the Torah does not obligate women to interpret the Written Torah by learning the Oral Torah, commonly known as the Talmud & Midrashim.

Man has a Torah obligation to produce children. Women have no such Torah obligation. The interpretation of having children: the burden of responsibility to educate – these future born children – to keep the eternal obligation of righteous justice, the Sinai oath brit נעשה ונשמע, wherein Israel accepted the revelation of the Torah at both Sinai and Horev. נעשה – Israel accepts the opening first 2 Commandments of Sinai together with the 611 Commandments commanded by Moshe, who learned the k’vanna of the opening first two Commandments, based upon the revelation of the Oral Torah. And נשמע – that Israel would learn the halachot\rabbinic commandments based upon the exact same Oral Torah logic system which Moshe the prophet interpreted – the 611 Commandments.

The חנוך/learning\education which Moshe the prophet initiated to instruct the Torah revelation at Sinai, the rabbinic sages employ this precise/identical logic wisdom whereby the Talmud sages learn all rabbinic halachot – as codified within the Talmud. The full revelation of the Torah at Sinai and Horev, which the House of Israel originally demanded from Aaron, the Nasi of the Great Sanhedrin, during the disgrace of the Golden Calf.

What marks a Great Sanhedrin from religious codifications of Halacha, like the Rambam’s Yad HaChazakah? The Sages rely upon Oral Torah logic to derive halachot woven together with Prophetic mussar commandments. The framers and final redactors of the Talmud defined the “loom” of Talmud & Midrashim – through its warp/weft halachic\aggadita relationship. Just as halacha shares a קידושין relationship with aggadita, the union of this בית produced Talmud and Midrashim; aggadita shares a קידושין relationship with prophetic mussar.

Observance of ritual halachot, divorced from aggadita, prophet mussar p’shat – as defined through the kabbala of Rabbi Akiva’s פרדס Divine Chariot kabbalah. Contrast this tohor against the absurd tumah avoda zara mythical virgin birth story – Jesus/Hercules son of Zeus; or the Apostle Paul’s declaration wherein he invalidated the mitzva of circumcision as a Torah commandment. Avoda zara boasts that it has replaced the brit obligation to keep the commandments of Torat Moshe, the sworn oath which Israel obligated all our future born generations through the mitzva of קידושין, to keep and listen, after Moshe descended Horev, the revelation of the Oral Torah. The mitzva of lighting the Hanukkah Oral Torah lights learns from: ראש השנה ג:ח

Upon the recapture of the Temple from the Syrian Greeks and assimilated Tzeddukim Cohonim, the sages found only enough “tohor oil” to light the menorah lights for one day. The Talmud teaches through a משל\נמשל learning technique. The נמשל of tohor Hanukkah oil, the Oral Torah. The “oil” of the Oral Torah caused the menorah of the Written Torah to burn all 8 days of the Chag. Just as the raised hand of Moshe did not fight the war with Amelek, so too the Sages forbade to use the lights of Hanukkah for any purpose other than the menorah light itself.
    תענית ב:י

Prohibits declaring a public fast day on the new month, on Hanukkah and on Purim. This ruling compares to ראש השנה ג:ח. It serves to separate and sanctify the k’vanna of the Yom Tov. The Mishna compares Hanukkah to the Yom Tov of Sukkot. As a person swears blessings over the 4 species all 7 days of that Chag, so too Hanukkah. Likewise the Gemara of Shabbot, which juxtaposes lighting the lights of Hanukkah to the oils permitted to light the Shabbat lights. Just as Shabbat candles separate and sanctify Shabbot – so too the lights of Hanukkah elevates this rabbinic mitzva unto a positive time oriented commandment from the Torah. Positive time oriented commandments from the Torah require k’vanna.

Chag Hanukkah stands upon the יסוד kabbalah of מעשה בראשית. The ger tzeddek who emerges from the tohor waters of the mikveh, that person lives as a “new creation”. The morning da’avening opens with פסוקי דזמרה which learns from saying the הלל on the Yom Tov. Both this and that base themselves from the precedent established by the joy remembered and felt by our people, when we left the bondage of Egyptian slavery. The switch from slave to free person, from this great event – the Torah learns gere tzeddik\persons who convert and become Jews. The kabbalah of מעשה בראשית has the k’vanna to arouse the Will to do avodat HaShem with tremendous joy.

Both on Hanukkah and Purim, Jews sing songs and give gifts to one another. Accomplishment of avodat HaShem, feeling depths of joy, this strong precedent serves to define the purpose and k’vanna of saying the פסוקי דזמרה prior to accepting the yoke of the kingdom as expressed through the דאורייתא mitzva of kre’a shma. All Torah mitzvot serve to define the k’vanna of acceptance of the 1st two Commandment revelations at Sinai, which the kre’a shma concludes with ONE.

The mitzva to love HaShem, the k’vanna of kre’a shma, as defined through the repeated acceptance of the yoke of blessings\geulah and curses\g’lut of the Torah oath brit – include under this “Tabernacle Tent”, all the commandments, mitzvot, and halachot as ONE commandment. The whole of the Torah and Talmud function as ONE positive time oriented Commandment wherein Israel worships avodat HaShem לשמה. Herein defines how Israel obeys the first Commandment of Sinai, and its דאורייתא relationship to both Chag Hanukkah and Purim and lighting Shabbot candles.

    חנוכה Third Day.

The Torah has 5 Books. בראשית, the Book of stories. The Shas Bavli replicates in resemblance the ratio of 4:1 weaving within the loom of פרדס halachah:aggaditah. The Gra taught that בראשית contains the whole of the Torah. Did he refer to Parshat בראשית or the Book of בראשית? This judge rules the latter opinion. The word בראשית holds a רמז gematria – words within words. ראש בית, ב’ ראשית, ברית אש. The Book בראשית resembles the sh’itta of stories within the Aggaditah. דרוש ופשט sanctify through קידושין, translated as marriage, the דרוש mussar of NaCH sanctified to the פשט stories told through aggaditah. This mussar פשט of the Aggaditah defines the k’vanna of all halachot learned within any given Mishna. This sh’itta of חנוך\education serves as the root of חנוכה; the expression of Rabbi Akiva’s פרדס kabbala. The warp and weft of the loom, פרדס ומעשה בראשית.

This 2nd ancient kabbala serves as the יסוד by which the Prophets taught tefilla as organized by the swear oath blessings within the Shemone Esrei. This warp\weft kabbalot, whereas פרדס gives k’vanna to all the halachot within the Shas, מעשה בראשית takes the expression as joy. Joy learned from slaves becoming free men. The kabbalah “take” of מעשה בראשית, compares to birth of the first born Cohen child. Wow such Joy.

Women enjoy a double portion, they did not participate in the disgrace of the Golden Calf. Women have a primary Torah obligation to keep and honor positive and negative commandments.

Rabbi Yechuda HaNasi teaches positive time oriented Commandments only an Torah obligation upon Men. The classic Reshonim lists of Torah commandments, and even the B’hag’s organization of the 613 Commandments, organized to include only positive and negative commandments. The Rambam’s Book of Commandments too lists Positive and negative commandments.

Both the B’hag and the Rambam include tefilla as part of the תרי”ג commandments. Tefilla requires, as do all positive time oriented commandments – k’vanna.

The warp\weft loom of פרדס opposed by מעשה בראשית weave a garment of k’vanna that through פרדס the דרוש of prophetic mussar through לשמה – טהור מידות דאורייתא ודרבנן as the פשט k’vanna of the aggaditah. The study of tohor middot affixes a middah to a specific Parshah.

The Shemone Esrei has 13 swear blessings as the revelation of the Oral Torah logic sh’iita has 13 tohor middot דאורייתא. This loom with its contrasting warp and weft kabbalah threads produces a tallit of “tzitzits” – remember all the commandments includes actively remembering the prophetic mussar commandments affixed by רמז וסוד to all the precedent halachot employed by the sages within the Talmud, that these halachic precedents – they define the parameters to understand the intent of Rabbi Yechuda’s Mishna, on par with how the Prophetic mussar defines the substance of k’vanna which elevates all the halachot unto the sanctity of positive time oriented commandments from the Torah.

    The 5th day of Hanukkah

Recently a non Jew rebuked me. The reference repeatedly made by myself unto Goyim, offended him; he considered such language as racist. Comparable to the black racial reference “cracker”. The Goyim did not accept the revelation of the Torah at Sinai and Horev. This refusal makes Goyim “strangers” or hagar — strange alien people to the chosen Cohen nation. Which term of reference reflects pardon? Goy or Ha’ger.
    Ha’ger Hagar
ואיש איש מבני ישראל ומן הגר הגר בתוכם אשר יצוד ציד חיה או עוף אשר יאכל ושפך את דמו וכסהו בעפר

Hagar betrayed the dignity and modesty of Sarah our mother. My response to that rebuke: the Hebrew for goy remembers “nation”. Zionism remembers “goy”. The shabbot minchah tefilla identifies Yaacov as “goy”; the Cohen goy chosen to walk through tohor middot. during social interactions, among and between bnai brit.Goy far preferrable than tumah Hagar…
הגר הגר בתוכם? חנוכה………יום חמש בחנוכה?

Story or tale, the Torah does not limit itself to 3 physical dimensions. Both the 5th axium of Euclid’s geometry and the “scientific method” limit reality of the Gods to 3 physical diemensions – death.Moshe commands mussar to Israel on the day he passed from this earth: life or death, therefore choose life. Remember the Cohen chosen, first born. Only Israel accepted the revelation of the Torah at Sinai and Horev. Upon the יסוד of this Preamble let’s examine the opening second chapter, Mishna Shabbot and its relationship to the mitzva to light the Hanukkah lights.

Tohor or Tuma middots\attributes who struggle – think Esau and Yaacov who struggled and fought a Civil War even while growing within the womb of רבקה אמנו. HaShem chooses the first born, birth order does not determine the first born. Cohen Israel … Chosen Nation\goy. The name goy, merits respect. Not so Hagar a stranger within bnai brit society. This distinction, the sages ruled in the favor the interpretation of “Hagar” as the hidden ערב רב within us.The Prosecution, בית שמאי versus בית הלל, the Defense. Two of the Three Judges who sit as Judges on the Court. These two judges, they serve as Prosecutor and Defense, and argue the Case before the third Judge of the Court. Lateral common law courtroom, none of the 3 Justices who hear and adjudicate cases, do not receive any State paid reimbursement for their public services.

Contrast vertical courtrooms, all other courtrooms in every country in the world throughout history. Both the Judge(s) and the Prosecuting attorney, receive a paid State salary. The American revolutionary leaders organized a Rebellion against continued British rule over the American colonies. All the American colonies together united in alliance. At least till the explosion of the American Civil War. United against the injustice and corruption and evil reputation of the British Star Courts.

When King George, (remember diplomacy), he rejected the American precondition,,, to remain part of the British Empire,,, King George rejected. Taxation without Representation — how the kingdoms of Germany, one and all, prior to the American revolution, unilaterally imposed crushing, unjustifiable all by rules of law, criminal taxation – restricted only upon stateless refugee Jewish populations. Taxation without Representation offered two choices; by close comparison, when the Nazis marched Jews to death camps – they too employed the same type of torture. Life or Death – maybe this question defines the “jewish question”.

The Xtian church continually debated this “jewish question”. Late in the war, the Pope surrendered all the jews of Rome to the SS. The defense of the Pope? or The prosecution of the Pope? The Allies, refused; they rejected the need to bomb the rail lines leading to the death camps,,, throughout the entire War.

Not the place of this opinion to argue the case of the prosecution of Pope Pius. This judge argues for his Defense. Not fair to isolate this specific Pope, like the church isolated their Jewish refugee populations. Without trial the church and secular European governments condemned Jews living in Western Europe, to either flee unto Eastern Europe or live within ghetto prisons. The defense therefore argues that the din of Hagar falls upon the Allied victors of the 2nd European and Russian Civil Wars during the 20th Century.

Russia, subjugated under the feet of Stalin, fought and won that 2nd European Civil War. The 300 year Czarist regime of Autocracy lost the first European Civil War. Had Czar Nicolas not surrendered, [“Leader” de Gaulle likewise argued concerning France – despite the Vichi Nazi collaboration], Russia would have ruled all of Ottoman Turkey… comparable to French “rule” over Lebanon and Syria; and British “mandate” over Iraq, Jordan, and Israel; as designated by the secret terms of the Sykes-Picot treaty.

    Balfour Declaration.

The post First European Civil War established – League of Nations; established by the victor Allies — compare the post 2nd European Civil War established – the United Nations. The League of Nations honored the Balfour Declaration as the basis for awarding to the British, the British Mandate unilaterally called: Palestine; land that included both Jordan and Iraq.

The British government separated Trans-Jordan from Palestine at the Jordan river. In 1950 all members except two nations – Britain and Pakistan, both refused to condemn the unilateral decision taken by the king of Jordan, to Nationalize the territories of Samaria and East Jerusalem within the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan. All other member States within the UN in 1948 condemned as illegal the nationalization of “occupied” Samaria and East Jerusalem nationalized and incorporated within the borders of the kingdom of Jordan.
[[[“”” Wiki-pedia: “Shiʿites in Arabia”. Encyclopædia Iranica. Retrieved 2019-08-29. The Zaydi denomination of the (Ḥasanid) Sharifian rulers of Mecca and the Imāmi-Shiʿi leanings of the (Ḥosaynid) emirs of Medina were well known to medieval Sunni and Shiʿi observers. This situation gradually changed under Mamluk rule. A number of Shiʿite and Sunnite sources hint at (alleged or real) sympathy for the Shiʿa among the Hāshemite (officially Sunni) families of the Ḥejāz, or at least some of their members””]]] .

Yet the UN as a body of Nations has, especially since the Israeli victory in its 2nd War of Independence. \Europe 0 & 2, Israel 2 & 0/. Starting with UN Resolution 242, most UN member states reject the victory of Israel over the Arabs in 1967. Euopean Hager nations together with the Hager Russia empire, both demand that Israel must most certainly surrender its victory in June 1967; their final final solution.

That World Peace hinges upon forcing Israel to (first) surrender the 2nd Israeli War of Independence. דיוק \The inference learned/ the EU share an alliance with Russia to destroy and uproot the Israeli victory 1948 Independence War. Both the EU and Russian governments share the identical strategic interest — on this single issue.

This alliance, proved by the repeated UN condemnations, exposes the allies Strategic Interest hostility against the Jewish people as stands with the Independent State of Israel. These “Allies” ,,, What if a man like President Trump rejects EU and Russian hatred of an Independent Jewish nation within the Middle East. This suspicion stands not only upon the ashes of the Shoah; a leopard cannot change its spots any more that Cain can remove the mark of his curse. Over 3 years, even when proven wrong, the Democrats condemned President Trump as a Putin stooge. Slander. Character Assassination. Lies.Israeli strategic foreign policy interests? Define and know your Enemy. Subterfuge defines foreign relations. Discern between the feigned thrust and the actual attack, substance from blow up dummies. The army of Patton prior to the Normandy invasion. The Arab and Muslim countries in the Middle East and North Africa and also Turkey. NOT an easy choice. Israel has a long history with Persia. Should this Judge argue in favor of a Sunni tilt in Israeli priority relations? Y\N?

Should Israel hope to restore the positive relationship enjoyed with Turkey prior to the current dictator. Turkey has a Sunni majority population. For Turkey to embrace Shiite, would it not provoke, which the current dictator encountered, a coo rebellion attempt made against the continued rule of the government under his leadership?

The risks threaten disaster – applicable to both Y\N answers. The Cohen nation requires leadership. Leaders of our nation decide these issues – NOT Judges. Judges learn from the Sanhedrin. The Sanhedrin jurisdiction, limited only within the borders of the Cohen Republic of States.International issues fall outside the purview of the Justices of these lateral common law courtrooms. The determination which orders the set of priorities of strategic Israeli Foreign Policy, Judges of these Courts have absolutely no say in the matter.

Who merits the name Goy? Who demerits the name Hagar? Which of the two has a ‘””good name”””? Does ‘fear of heaven’ mean ‘baal shem tov”? This judge emphatically defines a good name by baal shem tov. Which of the two possible names applies to Y\N? A Judge writes opinions, leaders decide which opinion they choose to heed. The Torah & NaCH repeatedly tell stories of choices different leaders\kings of Yechuda and Israel made.

Clearly the Torah blesses an oath blessing that Yechuda and Israel live by proper Divine brit blessing, when the leaders of the government obey and heed the council opinions voiced or expressed by prophets. All T’NaCH prophets command mussar – the command of HaShem for ever. The Chanukkah lights shine prophetic mussar, as does the reading of the Megillah of Ester, the Shabbat candles, and all the halachot learned from the T’NaCH Shas Siddur Midrash sealed masoret. The kabbala of Torah faith does not begin on the 10th Floor of medieval Jewish mysticism – known as Cabbalah.

This sugia begins on דף כא,page 2 tractate Shabbot. The Talmud forbids benefit from the Hanukkah lights, but not the odor of the burnt oil, the fuel for the lights. Hanukkah, a time of great joy. With this introduction, commit to דרוש … learn prophetic mussar and affix this prophet mussar to both a דאורייאת middah – affixed to a specific ברכה within the 13 middle blessings within the Shemone Esrei.

The scholarship of both Aggadita and Midrashim making a דרוש back to the Torah and NaCH prophets. The mussar which these prophets command, the k’vanna פשט learned by both the Aggadic or Midrash Primary Source. This דרוש linkage, employs aggadic or midrashic stories to teach Prophetic mussar commandments.

As the precedent halachot define the legal mandate of each and and every Mishna, so too and how much more so, the defined Prophetic mussar commandments determine the k’vanna of all halachot precedents which define the scope of all Mishnaic rulings which Rabbi Yechuda’s Mishna makes. Herein defines the chariot mysticism of Rabbi Akiva, his warp: פרדס definition for the Torah sh’Baal Peh.Positive time oriented commandments “fulfilled” primarily and decisively through the dedication of defined tohor middot affixed to specific blessings within the language of the Shemone Esrei. The Siddur stands upon the “loom”, weft kabbalah recognized as מעשה בראשית. The act of new Creation stands as the יסוד of Joyfull avodat HaShem – obeying the prophetic mussar commandments of the prophets. Defining a mussar commandment requires פרדס. This and that kabbala, these opposing stands, they weave the fabric of Torah faith.

Parech אחרי מות פרק יז:א – טז, what prophetic mussar does it command? Just as the codification of the Oral Torah stands upon the יסוד which requires comparison of a legal case to precedent court ruling made prior to the current case before the Court; in like and equal manner to interpret the mussar commandment of the Torah requires learning the Torah based upon comparing the mussar commandments of a specific NaCH prophet.

This judge interprets this Parech of Torah to define the halachot: making blessings before eating a meal as equal to the obligation to make an after meal blessing, learned from the דאורייתא commandment concerning bread eaten as a meal. The Talmud opens with ברכות as the Torah starts with בראשית.

The kabbalah of learning, this discipline entails comparing the case of the Torah to a similar case or cases within the mussar of the NaCH prophets. This prophetic mussar defines the פשט of either Aggaditah or Midrashic primary sources.

What distinguishes Aggaditah scholarship from Midrashic scholarship? Aggaditah affixes prophetic mussar commandments unto a designated Mishna. Midrash affixes Midrashic stories\פשט, made affixed to a specific designated ברכה within the Shemone Esrei tefillah.

The warp\weft פרדס\מעשה בראשית kabbalot raise prophetic mussar unto Torah commandments; this discipline requires learning by way of precedents. The sh’itta of the study of both Talmud and T’NaCH literature —– one shitta. Comparable to the word One, in the opening p’suk\verse of the mitzva of kre’a shma. Hear Israel Halacha Aggaditah Tefilla – ONE. The Torah commandment to sanctify the נעשה ונשמע oath, by which Cohen Israel accepted the revelation of the Written Torah at Sinai and the Oral Torah at Horev. The יסוד commandment that unites in קידושין this and that לשמה – the 1st Commandment at Sinai. לשם טהור מידות.Both tohor and tuma middot, they shape how a person socially behaves and interacts with the allied cohen people of the Chosen first-born Republic,,, shalom or hatred, honor or disgrace, life or death. Avodat HaShem, expressed through the Torah commandment of tefilla, dedicates as holy to HaShem, through making sworn blessings, tohor middot. The defined mitzva of Moshiach/from the Torah\; tefilla calls upon HaShem to judge the God(s) worshiped by the Yatzir HaRah. Upon this brit, Yehoshua lead the invasion of Canaan. The order of Rashi tefillen, based upon the sworn oath Israel cut a brit alliance with HaShem at Gilgal. Herein defines the k’vanna of HaShem commanding Moshe to bring Israel out of Egypt.

The minor prophet עמוס ה:ד – כז compares and learns the mussar commandment ויקרא פרק יז:א – טז. The mussar commandment, failure to bless our people (A “how much more so” logical argument. If the Torah commands to bless before and after eating a meal, how much more so, a Torah obligation to bless our people before and after legal disputes and conflicts of interest).Yosef failed to bless his brothers before he died, and Israel experienced the Torah curse of g’lut; Moshe blessed the 12 Tribes of the nation before he passed from this World, and Yehoshua brought Israel and conquered Canaanite kings. This prophetic mussar affixes to the Neshama of the Rosh HaShanna judgment – the blessing:
סלח לנו אבינו כי חטאנו, מחל לנו מלכנו כי פשענו, כי אל טוב וסלח אתה. ברוך אתה ה’ חנון המרבה לסלח.

Blessing our people defines the mitzva of סלחה. As long as we eat food, Israel has the Torah obligation to bless our people. We bless our people, and even if confronted by Giants during war, Israel prevails victorious – as happened in both 1948 and 1967. HaShem separates the Cohen nation from all other Goyim through the Cohen blessing of our people. The Cohen blessing learns from the Torah obligation to bless food before and after consumption.

The spirituality of Goyim religions places a lower priority obligation of Goyim blessing Goyim, starting with the negative commandment not to curse the leaders of ones’ people. Goyim societies openly curse and despise the leaders of their people. Like did the Pelosi Democrats curse President Trump, #45. Herein defines the mussar of עמוס as the פשט of the ילקוט שמעוני midrash on this 3 sugiot making up ה:ד -כז.

Prophets command mussar. Torat Moshe commands all generations of bnai brit Israel to listen and obey prophetic mussar while living and ruling the oath sworn lands. Herein defines the k’vanna of the mitzva דאורייתא to light the Hanukkah lights. Noach cursed Ham. Therefore the Torah obligation to pursue graciousness and pardon our people – the expression of a good eye and good heart. The halachot of Hanukkah learned by the Gemara on this opening Mishna of the 2nd chapter of Shabbot, the dedication of these halachot affixed to the 3rd blessing of סלח לנו, achieve raising them to positive time oriented commandments from the Torah לשמה.

As a summation, the learning how to raise rabbinic commandments to positive time oriented commandments from the Torah. Torat Moshe compares eating meats not slaughtered in front of the altar, dedicated to HaShem, unto blood shed. Torat Moshe – eating living blood דאורייתא carries the din of כרת.Jump to the halachic commandment to make a blessing over (before and after eating) foods. Hanukkah remembers the Jewish Civil Wars fought between the P’rushim and the Tzeddukim assimilated care taker 2% fabulously rich Jews who manage the wealth of the banana republic for the benefit of the colonial over lords. After defeating the Syrian Greeks, the Hashmonaim kings broke their alliance with the P’rushim and cut an alliance with the Hagar T’zeddukim assimilated Jews. This betrayal by the Hashmonaim kings provoked a huge Civil War which defined the Hashmonaim kingdom throughout its blood shed history ruling over the Jewish people as an Independent nation. Therefore the mussar of סלח לנו teaches that to bless a pardon to our People directly compares to making blessings over foods, before and after eating – that rabbinic commandment learns from the Torah prohibition of murder and not eating blood and the mussar obligation to סלח לנו to our people.

Shabbot Chanukkah – Avodat HaShem – the duty to pardon our people expressed as the k’vanna of the 3rd Middle Blessing of the Shemone Esrei: סלח לנואבינו כי חטאנו …
[[[“””Rabbinic courts are permitted, according to Jewish law, to beat a man or imprison him, take away his driver’s license and professional license (as they are authorized to do in Israel) until he “willingly” gives his wife a Get, and this type of inducement is not deemed by Jewish law, to be “coercive.” However, if a civil court imposes an order on a husband to give his wife a Get and impliedly threatens him with jail or monetary sanction if he disobeys that order, the Get is deemed to be “coercive” and therefore invalid.”””]]]
    ((( https://familylawyermagazine.com/articles/jewish-divorce-and-family-law-the-ketubah-and-the-get/ ))).

An improper reading, exposing flawed Talmudic scholarship. The required דיוק learns that Rabbinic courts posses an even greater more terrible and powerful kabbalah – judicial authority. The name – כרת – defines this awesome judicial power. The decree ruling כרת defines the oath brit faith that: A) HaShem dwells within the hearts of the bnai brit chosen cohen people. B) HaShem ceases to dwell and judge between the Yatzirot — tohor vs. tuma. The letter “h” does not spell within “Yatzirot”. But does spell within tumah. Therefore by a דיוק reading: … the Yatzirot,,, tohor vs. tumah, HaShem ceases to dwell & Judge there-in the Divine court of the bnai brit heart.

This כרת situation likewise defines the relationship between non bnai brit Goyim and HaShem. Goyim have no oath brit portion in the world to come. Meaning: the Goyim have no oath brit with HaShem as their God. Therefore HaShem does not dwell within the hearts of Goyim. Neither the Bible nor Koran ever once bring the Name of HaShem. Goyim has no oath brit that their future born seed shall not go extinct. Massive empires offer no assurances that those empires shall forever rule throughout eternity.

The rabbinic decree: כרת separates the criminal convict, the case of a man who forces his wife unto the disgrace of agunah, of the Avram oath brit. By the power of a Jewish beit din, the Court possesses the power of כרת נידוי; meaning the oath brit sworn between the two Yatzirot, this brit ceases to apply to that נידוי כרת “new Goy creation”… the power of the “מעשה בראשית” kabbalah. The courts has far greater authority than just ‘”impliedly threatens him”‘. The children of this man, irregardless of the Jewish status of the mother, no longer Jewish. This נידוי כרת din, stands upon the din of mamzer. If the courts have the kabbalah of מעשה בראשית with all Gere Tzeddik. Then equally so the courts have the kabbalah of מעשה בראשית with a מחלל שם השם ברבים, a man who refuses to give his ex-wife her Get. This kabbalah learns from the כרת din of death to the man who publicly gathered sticks on shabbot in the days of Moshe the prophet. As “new creation” – this post נידוי כרת Hagar non-Jew ceases to live or exist as bnai brit, because the Court has the kabbala to place a ban of נידוי upon that רשע.

The court can therein give the agunah wife her get, because that Hagar non-Jews no longer lives as a bnai brit ally. Physical violence as the above quoted rabbinic source falsely suggests: how utterly crude and barbaric! Bnei brit — means life. HaGar non bnai brit — means death extinction of future born generations. A clear definition of intent of the language of Moshe the prophet, expressed through his Last Will and Mussar. “Therefore chose life.” Blessing/Curse. A person threatened with כרת directly judges ‘Fear of Heaven’ of not only that רשע, but all and every generation of bnai brit born unto future generations forever. Baal Shem Tov ,,, the master of the good name,,, the oath brit cut between the pieces,,, HaShem lives in the heart of all generations of oath bnai brit. Rosh HaShana – 2 Days one day long, it judges between the tohor and tumah Yatzirot within the heart of the chosen bnai brit Cohen nation\People.

Judgment day on the brit, cut between the Yatzir Ha’Rah and the Yatzir Ha’Tov,,, משל\נמשל. A binary system – similar to the 2 poles in a battery – this judgment day upon the brit. How does a person pursue “bless”? “curse”? The latter contains “cure”. Success, and still fail. Comparable to the rain falling in its season, but the rainfall occurs where it damages property rather than cause crops to grow. Fail twice,,, the din decreed upon both Germany and France in the 20th Century. England won and still lost its empire. France lost two wars, both to Germany. Thereafter France like Britain lost most of its imperialist empire; Algeria and Vietnam both expelled French domination over their people. Twice – Ageria and Vietnam combined = Twice – Germany fought major wars against France in the 20th Century. Total defeat in war defines a Torah curse.

Based upon the mussar affixed to chag chanukkah so far, the commandment not to eat blood does not limit itself only to physical blood. Blood inclusive of ‘blood rivalries’. The Parshah of מקץ, the kabbalah always affixes to chag chanukkah – the blood rivalry between the sons of Yaacov against Yosef. The oath brit commitment to bless our people with the k’vanna for giving pardon for wrongs and transgression which left unchecked could result – according to the Yatzir ha’rah — ‘hatred without cause’; contrasted by the Yatzir ha’tov — ‘hatred with cause’. T’shuva equally applies to both this and that. The t’shuva of the one, not the same as the t’shuva of the other. But mussar irregardless, rebukes both. The t’shuva dedication remembered in the evening tefillah, starkly contrasts with the t’shuva dedication remembered in the morning tefillah. The din of כרת cut the korban of t’shuvah from the trief of repentance. Bnai brit Yidden, deplore regret repentance for their “sins” only in the rabbinic וידויים declared 5 times on Yom Kippor.

Torah faith rejects the alien foreign ‘claptrap’ ערוה guilt trip: ‘the messiah saves Man from original sin’. Humanity learns from mistakes made. Impossible to bake a cake without breaking eggs. The story of Adam’s exile from the Garden teaches the negative, the brit consequences leading to g’lut. The interpretation of the Written Torah, restricted only to the logic of Oral Torah tohor middot, rejects the tumah Pauline distortion/perversion, by which the Xtian church avoda zara refers to: “the Fall of Adam from Paradise”. Torah teaches: the responsibility of spirituality, NOT history. Ancient Torah stories, totally do not depend upon actual historical persons. Prophets command mussar to all generations of bnai brit Israel. The stories of Avraham Yitzak Yaacov Moshe Aaron etc exist as Aggadic mussar… NOT History. An important and fundamental distinction between how Jewish tradition views the Scriptures,,,, opposed by how Goyim scholars view the Scriptures.

Attempts to affix real life ‘historical’ characters, these idolized – ‘Star characters & actresses’ – as told within T’NaCH aggaditah, all together misses and distorts the k’vanna of Aggadic mussar education. The ratio of Aggadita to Halacha does share a close duality resemblance between Torah literature and Talmudic literature. The similarity, this key ratio – serves as a strong proof that the framers of the Oral Torah\Talmud Bavli codification – that Rav Ashi and Rav Ravina (the compilers and closing editors of the Shas Bavli), that their Aggadic:Halachic ratio closely followed the precedent set by the earlier Torah pattern; the relative value relationship between key Torah ‘story characters’ contrasted by ‘law’.

The avoda zarah church confused Torah commandments with law. Another basic and fundamental error made by ignorant foreign strangers who dolled themselves up into priestly attire to perpetuate their ruse of complete and total ignorance of Torah brit faith.

Oral Torah logic specializes by making Case\Study Comparisons; all Talmudic law stands upon this wisdom-skill. The knowledge how to compare a specific case, currently heard before a Court, to earlier similar – precedent cases – (Judicial legal rulings as “law”, stands separate from the 611 commandments whereby Moshe the prophet first taught how to interpret the Written Torah’s opening first 2 Commandments of the Sinai revelation), wherein other courtrooms made halachic rulings. This same sh’itta\style of learning equally employed in the Oral Torah logic format’s interpretation of all NaCH prophetic mussar, learned and interpreted based upon other Primary source precedents. Herein explains the unique “sugia” organization of all the Torah together with the Books of the prophets.

The foreign biblical translators uprooted and obliterated with their introduction of Chapters and verses, the bnai brit Jewish framers and editors of these T’NaCH sources by which bnai brit Jewish culture and customs organized the Books of the T’NaCH into defined sugiot, based upon Oral Tradition kabbalah! A classic failure of alien Goyim attempts to organize the T’NaCH into their own image, German Protestant higher criticism developed in the late 19th Century and collapsed early in the 20th Century. These Goyim biblical ‘scholars’ attempted to view the T’NaCH literature divorced from all living Jewish peoples’ culture, customs, and traditions; they knew nothing concerning Oral Torah logic. These German Protestant higher critics resemble the scholarship made by Paleontologists. Who compare fossils to find clues about early organisms and how they lived. Extinct dinosaurs leave no living culture, customs, and traditions.

Biblical scholarship made by foreign Xtian Goyim, as a rule totally ignores and discounts Jewish scholarship made through the Talmud and Midrashim: the defining culture, customs, and traditions by which the Jewish rabbinic scholars learned and interpreted the T’NaCH Primary sources. The 1st objective rule of T’NaCH scholarship, never divorce the Jewish people from the T’NaCH Primary sources. The exact error which defines virtually all church replacement theology, their “new Israel”, combined with their feeble, insincere, shallow, reactionary, efforts to learn ‘their Bible’.

Have personally met Goyim who thought that ‘their Bible’ — originally written in English. Xtians have no idea of the Torah definition for the term brit – defined as an oath alliance לשמה; or tohor and tuma as something other than clean and unclean. Xtians have no idea that the mitzva of kre’a shma defines the meaning of the word ‘love’; love accepts responsibility for ones’ actions; ones’ actions includes the actions made by all bnai brit family members. Love goes hand in glove with Justice. Xtians replace the name of Jesus with the 1st Commandment of the Torah revelation at Sinai; the commandment to keep and obey the Commandments לשמה; which means: in the Name of T’NaCH, Talmud, and Midrashic defined tohor middot, expressed through the Siddur.

The dedication of these defined tohor middot unto HaShem accomplished through the specific דאורייתא mitzva, known as tefilla; the Torah compares the commandment to dedicate korbanot sacrifices upon the altar at Zion to tefillah. This משל\נמשל comparison teaches a strong mussar education, how a bnai brit person da’avens to HaShem with k’vanna.

Rather, Xtianity exalts in the salvation messiah Jesus reached. There “Saved theology”, dogmatism declares that the resurrection of Jesus saves man from both Sin and Death. Saved Mankind has no need to accept upon themselves the obligation of Torah spirituality, whose mussar commands the bnai brit Cohen nation to mature and develop tohor middot. The defined avodat HaShem spirituality, wherein the Torah commands all generations of the chosen Cohen nation; all generations to adhere and honor the oath sworn Sinai brit of נעשה ונשמע. To cause these tohor middot to rule over equally powerful and influential tuma middot — this Torah definition of Love of HaShem, Xtianity replaced with the ‘for God so loved the world’ narishkeit.

New Testament replacement theology prioritizes the cruel, not just, torture, court corruption which includes bribary, & the physical resurrection of Jesus from the dead – Greek mythology. The church rejects the oath brit, sworn between the two Yatzirot. Whereby HaShem and Avram cut a “resurrection of the dead” brit, upon the collateral security ASSET of the continued living seed of Avram, being like the stars in the heavens in multitude, living throughout all future born generations – called O’lam Ha’Bah; with HaShem living inside the hearts of all generations of bnai brit and eternally judging between tohor and tuma middot, expressed by the two opposing Yatzirot within the heart. Hence the German Protestant higher criticism made a study of T’NaCH sources comparable to how paleontologist study fossils; higher criticism viewed the T’NaCH literature as representative of a dead, extinct civilization. The Nazis stole and collected Jewish memorabilia, organized in their museums, to remember the extinct Jewish inferior race.

The פרק of Parshah מקץ opens on מא:א and does not conclude till מז:לא, a huge chapter within the Torah. For talmidim who strive to learn the Torah לשמה, this huge chapter which does not conclude till the after beginning the Parshah of ויחי, the closing Parshah of the Book of בראשית, (How a person organizes literature, shapes and impacts how later scholars learn and interpret the intent of that literature – based upon how the framers arranged the order of its chapters), this huge chapter never once brings the Name of HaShem. This huge chapter tells the Aggadic story of Yosef and his brothers. The Talmud learns that Yosef failed to pardon/give מחילה to his brothers. Yosef contrasts with both Yaacov and Moshe the prophet, he did not bless the house of Israel before he passed. Yaacov and Moshe closed the Books of בראשית ודברים, with blessing which give pardon to the 12 Tribes sons of Yaacov.

This din upon the Neshama serves as a strong Torah precedent to define the Rosh HaShana Yom Ha’Din upon the brit between the two Yatzirot. The dedication of the tohor middah, possessing the Divine Name אל; learned לשמה, defines Shabbot Chanukkah as a mitzva דאורייתא: the Torah spirituality and faith by which a Jew commits within the 3rd Middle Blessing within the Shemone Esrei tefilla to pardon and forgive his family, house, and people. No false messiah can pardon others. All generations of bnai brit have a Torah obligation to accept this yoke of Heaven upon themselves: Hear Israel HaShem our Judge HaShem – ONE [faith] (which equally obligates all generations of bnai brit who currently live in O’lam Ha’Bah).
